Stuart Howard, BA (Hons) Professional Financial Adviser
Managing Director & Independent Financial Planner
Stuart started his working life with HMRC where he gained extensive experience in taxation. He then became Tax Manager for a local firm of Chartered Accountants before starting his own tax consultancy. During this period he also co-authored 6 financial books in the “Simple and Practical” range. He became a financial adviser in 1997 and was Managing Director of two financial services companies before establishing his own business.
When not at his desk, Stuart enjoys playing drums and doing ridiculously long walks along the old pilgrimage routes across Europe ending in Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain.
Bev joined the Financial Services Industry in 1988 working for NM Financial Management as Administration Manager with a team of 5 administrators. She subsequently worked for Prudential, again as Manager of an Administration team. On leaving Prudential she worked for a Financial Services company based in the Channel Islands during which time she periodically worked in both Jersey and Guernsey although primarily based in their office in Portsmouth.
In her spare time (when she has any!) Bev enjoys reading, walking (but not the ridiculously long walks with Stuart) and socialising with friends and family.
